I am a person who likes to experience new challenges, explore new places, meet new people, and see new things. I had the privilege of visiting the island of Vinalhaven twenty-five years ago for the first time. I immediately was intrigued by its natural beauty, charm, and community values which make this town such a special place to live. I moved to Vinalhaven at the age of eighteen when I decided that this was the place where I wanted to raise my family. 

I immersed myself in the island culture the best way I knew how. I am not a person to ever shy away from hard work. I worked on several lobster boats over the past several years, both inshore and offshore, which have provided some of the most scenic and memorable experiences which are unique to the Vinalhaven area. I worked in the lobstering field while attaining a BS in Mental Health and Human Services. Once I completed this degree I worked for Child Developmental Services assisting and developing programs to help students and families who had special needs. I continued with my education and attained an MS in Psychology at which time I decided to work as a School Counselor. During this experience, I came to fully appreciate the feelings of accomplishment which come from helping others achieve their goals. I then decided that I can use my experiences with resource and goal property to fit your lifestyle, be it a first-time home, business, Summer home, or retirement home, all are important to how one chooses to pursue personal happiness. As a REALTORS®, I will strive to work with each client to help them find the right property to fit their personalities and needs. 

I enjoy many adventurous activities such as mountain and trail hiking, boating, camping, but also enjoy quiet activities such as reading, watching the sunrise, or exploring the beaches of the smaller uninhabited islands which are still close to home. I like to watch school athletics and activities. I also enjoy learning new things by taking adult education courses whenever I have time.
